Editorial Standards
Last updated: April 2026
The Men's Digest is committed to rigorous, independent journalism. This page describes the editorial standards we apply to every article we publish.
Independence
Editorial decisions are made independently of commercial relationships. Advertisers do not see articles before publication and do not influence editorial coverage. Sponsored content, when published, is clearly labeled as such and is editorially separated from our reporting.
Fact-Checking
Every article that includes scientific or medical claims is reviewed by a qualified expert before publication. We name our reviewers in the byline of each article. When research is cited, we link to or reference the original source where available.
Corrections
If we make a mistake, we correct it openly. Substantive corrections are noted at the bottom of the affected article with the date and nature of the correction. Minor corrections (typos, formatting) are made silently.
Sourcing
We name our sources whenever possible. When we cannot name a source for a legitimate reason, we explain why. We do not publish anonymous claims that we cannot independently verify.
Product Reviews and Investigations
When we test or investigate products, we describe our methodology in the article. We disclose any commercial relationships with the products being reviewed. Our verdicts are based on the criteria we publish and are not influenced by advertiser status.
Conflicts of Interest
Contributors disclose any financial or personal relationships with the subjects of their reporting. Articles are reassigned when a conflict cannot be adequately disclosed.
